The first of two pages from a week in Norfolk, for more photos from Norfolk click here.

Blickling Blickling Blickling
There are some great walks to be found through the woodland and parkland at Blickling Hall located 1.5 miles to the north of Aylsham in Norfolk. There are three circular waymarked routes around the parkland, the Lake walk and Mausoleum walk are both approximately 2 miles in length and the Estate walk is slightly longer at 4.5 miles. Dogs on leads are welcome in the park but not in the hall or gardens at the estate, the parkland is open all year round from dawn to dusk, further details about opening times and special events can be found on the National Trust website.

Norfolk Gardens Norfolk Gardens Norfolk Gardens
This summers wet weather and warm Autumn has resulted in a spectacular display of colour in many parks and gardens across the UK.

Castle Acre Castle Acre Castle Acre
The castle at Castle Acre Village is just one of many historical sites to be found in the village located 5 miles to the north of Swaffham in Norfolk. It is one of the best examples of a Norman settlement to be found including the castle, parish church and monastery. Both the castle and monastery are in the care of Engish Heritage and are open all year round with dogs on leads welcome at both sites. To see page two from this visit to Norfolk click here.
