17/03/08 - Images from the Boots and Paws library have been used in the new Welsh Academy Encyclopaedia of Wales published today. The book which has taken 10 years to produce is the first ever single-volume encyclopaedia of Wales published in separate Welsh and English editions.

27/04/05 - On the 30th April 2005 a new production of The Knot Garden, an opera by Michael Tippett opens at the Royal Opera House. This co-production by the Royal Opera House and Music Theatre Wales is designed by Turner Prize nominees Jane and Louise Wilson, two of the most highly regarded video artists in Britain today. One of the Boots and Paws photographs depicting the Knot Garden at Little Moreton Hall has been used in the promotional material for the opera. Boots and Paws was the first website ever produced in 2003 by Nicky Griffiths who now offers specialist digital consultancy advice via her business based in Macclesfield, Cheshire: www.meemodigital.com. This website is looking a little bit out of date now, but demonstrates how good website design and a simple layout can stand the test of time!

02/12/08 - A brand new partner website dedicated to the Goyt Valley in the Peak District National Park has now been launched, this community guide has information about the history of the area and facilities available, along with a regularly updated photography gallery and a number of walk descriptions for those visiting the area.
