Photos above show the sun setting at Derwent Water, Keswick on Saturday 30th October 2004.
     
From left to right the photos above show a hot air balloon at Elterwater, Great Langdale and Blea Tarn as the sun makes a brief appearance through the mist that lurked for most of the day on Sunday 31st October.
     
More mist drifts across the Langdale Pikes in the centre photo, the photo to the right shows the River Brathay at Skelwith Bridge as it flows towards Windermere.
     
A peaceful Esthwaite Water is shown on the left above, this natural lake is located to the south east of Hawkshead between Coniston and Windermere. The seagull was spotted at Lakeside at the southern end of Lake Windermere.
