| Carew Castle is shown above where there is thought to have been a settlement dating back to the iron age. There is a great mile long walk that takes you past the castle itself and Carew Mill, (see below) as well as an 11th century Celtic Cross at the site. | ||

| The castle overlooks the tidal mill pond belonging to Carew Mill shown above, the three story mill is thought to date back to the 19th century. | ||
