A Stanage Edge local and a couple of views from the Monsal Trail are included above. Cressbrook Mill, a former cotton mill but now converted to apartments was first built by Richard Arkwright in 1779 and rebuilt in 1787 by his son after a fire. The village of Cressbrook grew around the mill on the banks of the River Wye.
