More murky wet weather means no new
photos were taken this weekend, this page features a selection from a few weeks
ago showing the National Trust's Longshaw Estate located to the south west of
Sheffield.
More photos and information about
the Longshaw Estate can be accessed through this link,

The 1600 acres that make up the Longshaw Estate
consist of a mixture of open moorland, woodland and farmland. |

Longshaw was once part of a shooting estate
owned by the Duke of Rutland but was purchased due to a joint appeal by the
CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) and the Sheffield Council of Social
Services in 1927. It was passed into the care of the National Trust in 1931. |
