| Windermere is the largest natural lake in England at 12 miles long and a mile wide. Photo on the left above features Waterhead, Ambleside at the northern end of the lake. | ||

| The Lake is a very popular place for water activities, we enjoy a cruise from Ambleside towards Bowness-on-Windermere, the Lake District's most popular tourist destination. Pleasure cruises are nothing new here with Steamers operating on the lake since 1845. | ||
