Left photo shows the River Rothay, the colourful leaves are starting to drop off the trees. This is another place we visited back in June. To see photos from that visit to White Moss Common and Grasmere click here.
Photos on the right and centre from our last destination of the weekend Sizergh Castle, unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the castle or gardens.
The colours in the gardens planted in 1926 were stunning. The photos on the left and centre were taken in the limestone rock garden at this National Trust Property.
