KERRIDGE - MACCLESFIELD CANAL - 26/06/03

Tonight we return to the Macclesfield Canal near Kerridge and go for a short walk, approximately 2 miles in length there and back. The weather is warm dry and bright.

Kerridge Dry Dock in the centre, on the right the view from one under one of the bridges above the canal.
We pass Bollington Wharf, here they carry out boat fitting out, repairs and servicing. The boat in the centre is the White Nancy Restaurant boat just setting off for the evenings cruise.
On the left one of the old mills alongside the canal. Photo in the centre, this boat must belong to a dedicated Manchester City FC fan.
