CHESHIRE PEAKS - 17/07/03

Just a drive around tonight, the weather is a lot different today than in the last few days, a lot colder with cloud and rain, and a return to dull white skies. All the places we visit tonight are located to the East of Macclesfield. We head off initially towards the village of Sutton, on the Wildboarclough and then finally through Macclesfield Forest.

Above left we spot a beagle pack going walkies, I think it is the Forest & District Beagle pack. Centre and right is the Hanging Gate pub, with fantastic views over Cheshire.

The photo on the left is the Crag Inn at Wildboarclough, centre and right feature Trentabank Reservoir, at Macclesfield Forest.

On the left is the view from the Leather's Smithy pub, as shown in the centre photograph with Ridgegate Reservoir in the background. On the right the view from the Leather's Smithy car park up towards the cloud covered peak of Teggs Nose.
