BIDDULPH GRANGE COUNTRY PARK - 05/08/03

Tonight we visit Biddulph Grange Country Park, it is located off the A527 road that runs between Congleton and Stoke, about 1 mile north of Biddulph. It is located next door to the already visited National Trust property Biddulph Grange Gardens. Its a warm and bright evening with the temperature about 25˚C.

Photos above show the fishing lake at the park with the old boat house dated 1913 showing in the photo on the right. The Country Park was once park of the Biddulph Grange Estate.
There is a Visitors Centre at the park although it was closed this evening. It is a popular spot for picnics with many picnic tables situated around the 73 acre site.

Tonight we enjoy a short walk from the car park past the Visitors Centre and around the Lake, although there are many other routes on the site. The Country Park is owned and run by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
