BIDDULPH GRANGE
COUNTRY PARK - 05/08/03
Tonight we visit Biddulph Grange
Country Park, it is located off the A527 road that runs between Congleton and
Stoke, about 1 mile north of Biddulph. It is located next door to the already
visited National Trust property
Biddulph Grange Gardens.
Its a warm and bright evening with the temperature about 25˚C.

with the old boat house dated 1913 showing in the photo on the right. The
Country Park was once park of the Biddulph Grange Estate. |

There is a Visitors Centre at the park
although it was closed this evening. It is a popular spot for picnics with
many picnic tables situated around the 73 acre site. |

Tonight we enjoy a short walk from the car park past the Visitors Centre and around the Lake, although there are many
other routes on the site. The Country Park is owned and run by Staffordshire
Moorlands District Council. |
